		<description>Hello. If you have a problem with the power supply light not coming on when connected to the Elements external then it is NOT a faulty drive. It is NOT a bad power supply either. It is FAULTY electric circuit inside the casing. the HDD is OK. Take out the Hard Disk inside the casing and you can use it as a normal SATA hard disk. Now you have your data back. 

As a side-note, if you send this back to WD under warranty for a replacement your WILL lose your data. WD does NOT offer electrical repair services only Data Recovery partners. YOU DO NOT NEED THAT. Take the drive out of the casing like I say above and use it on any SATA compatible device.
